Itching and strech marks
Hello Doctor. My wife is 5 months pregnant and she is complaining that her stomach is itching and she is applying moisturizer right now. Is there any specific cream for itching and tell us if there is any good anti stretch marks cream..

hi itching in pregnancy is common. it is because of stretching ,also increased blood supply and due to break down of elastin .any emolient that spreads out should help to controle the itching as well stretch marks. in bath water can add calamine lotion. besides too much of unberable itching not responding to above measure consult your obstetrician to rule out choestatic jaundice.
