Itching all over body

Asked for Male, 25 Years

My mother was conplaining of itching (khujli all over the body) for past 2-3 days, as we always do, called one known doc ( a surgeon) and he prescribed zocon 150 mg (4 tablets ,in one go) , i went out to take meds but pharmacist put me in a doubt and said this med is never prescribed like this. 1. Pls tell me the correct dose of this med for the mentioned problem. 2. Pls suggest any other med or treatment apart for zocon 150.
