Itchiness & Yellow Urine
My wife is 25+weeks pregnant. She is complaining of ichiness, rashes and yellowish urine since 2 weeks. Got certain tests done.
Total Bilirubin: 1.32mg/dL
Conjugated Bilirubin: 0.57
Unconjugated Bilirubin: 0.75
SGPT: 286 U/L
Serum Alkaline Phospatase: 285 U/L
Haemoglobin 8.9 gm/dl
NB: She is Beta thalassemic (Minor)
Is she having Jaundice? Major complications? Her Gynae-Ob is out of station... Worried.

Itchiness rashes can bed to fungal infection but according to the report she is not having jaundice. take 4 to 5 litres of water per day
Why don't you consult some other gynaecologist till your gynaecologist come back

She has mild jaundice. But her liver enzymes are raised. This cannot be taken lightly during pregnancy. Please see some other gynaecologist right away
