Any oral ulcerative lesion lasting for more than 14 days after removal of insult, should be properly examined by an ent surgeon. These are classified as persistent oral lesions. Proper examination and biopsy of the lesion might be required in such cases

Any oral ulcerative lesion for longer than 1 month needs a proper examination. This will happen in this case may be due to chewing tobacco addiction. In photo it might not look clearly but he should undergo proper oral cavity examination nd based on that will able to diagnosed the condition properly.

Looks like a ulcer in the floor of the mouth. It would need a biopsy and a contrast CT scan for further diagnosis and management. Any lump in the neck also needs to be evaluated to rule out lymph nodal metastasis.
