Is taking Giloy vati daily for long safe
My parents (above 65 years old) are diabetic, but under control. They are having Giloy ghan vati, Karela jamun juice, sugar free chyawanprash (dabur brand having artificial sweetener), soaked fenugreek (methi) seeds (not regularly) and dry fruits (soaked) daily for immunity and to keep sugar under control. Is it safe to have all these daily ( especially Giloy ghan vati of Patanjali) or should they give a break for a month or so after around 3 months and start again? They are also taking allopathy medicines for diabetes and multivitamin capsules along with the above ayurvedic herbs (if that helps in answering the question). Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello sir... I would like to tell you that taking these medicines daily for longer duration is not so good..... U should discontinue them for atleast 1 month after taking them regularly for 3 months.... As it can aggreviate normal dosh.... It does not have any major side effects..... U can continue chyavanprash... But rest medicine u should discontinue after a several time...
