I have grown up having milk. But lately it has started causing a bit of discomfort in my tummy. So wanted to know if I can skip it and have other forms of protein and calcium.

You can reduce milk and milk products.... If you are non vegetarian you can have one egg daily also fish Wil be a good supplement... Drink plenty of water...
