Is meftal p safe to give thrice a day?
Son have ear infection and fever and bit cold cough. Prescribed augmentin dds, wikoryl ds and meftal p thrice a day, 7.5 ml each. Is meftal p safe to give kids even if they have low fever or no fever now? Can the dose for meftal p be skipped and given sos? Or should i give flexon instead?
His weight is 28 kgs.
Meftal p was prescribed when the fever was 103 degrees F. But now there is no fever.

Yes you can give meftal p in children. Take it for 3days continously irrespective of whether he is having fever or not. After that u can stop it/ give sos.
