My husband has been having fluctuating hemoglobin levels. It was in the range of 17-18 and doctors couldn't find out the cause even after doing series of tests. As advised by the doctor he did phlebotomy once around 1.5 years ago and since then it is at 14-15 range. Last test was done 10 months ago.
Since there are speculations around blood clot as a side effect for Covid vaccines, I wanted to check if it is safe to take vaccine for him. He is 44 years old.
Thanks

Your HB levels are within normal range. He should take vaccines. Blood clot due to covid vaccine is a very rare phenomenon. Advantage of vaccines are more than its rare side effects.
