Is it safe to be pregnant?
I have hypertension and I am currently on Exforge medication 5/160 and sometimes 10/160 when the pressure is too high. My pressure goes up to 150/105 sometimes. I have had this for more than 9 years. I used to have the autoimmune liver disease and had to use Imuran, Prednisone, and Ursugol, but I haven't been using them for the past year because enzymes went down. Recently, the AST and ALT lightly increased but I did not go back to medication. I was told not to become pregnant, but it happened?

Firstly,The safety profile of the drugs u are on contains telmisartan which is not safe to be taken during pregnancy , it causes fetal defects specially if u had taken it during embryogenesis period Secondly , your age is a concern, for chromosomal anamolies risk increases with advanced maternal age Thirdly since u were a known case of autoimmune ds if liver which needs to be evaluated before giving a green signal for pregnancy as work load of liver increases during pregnancy and ur condition may worsen I would suggest u to meet a geneticist and ur health care provider to help u out during this pregnancy event .

Autoimmune disease can be completely reversed by addressing the root cause of the problem.Thyroid pill can only mask the TSH for sometime but doesn't do anything to heal the root cause of the problem which is not in your thyroid. Any  Autoimmune issue esp Thyroid disease is completely reversible in my experience. I have reversed not only my own autoimmune  disease but have helped hundreds of women heal their hormone Imbalances and achieve healty natural pregnancies. It's frustrating to see that so many women are suffering and not getting the right information. It can be reversed not by masking the symptoms with drugs but by addressing the root cause of the problem. Needs root cause evaluation with further investigations...Can be healed with diet changes, lifestyle changes, self care and Detoxification.Hope this helps.
