She has a problem of ASD and will be operated tomorrow. So is it harmful for life or not. She is having it by birth. And how much will be the operation dangerous or serious. Surgical repair should be considered for all patients with uncomplicated ASDs with a clinically significant left-to-right shunt. Such repair is ideally completed at 2-4 years of age.
