My daughter's eye turns red very often and itches as well. A few days back the problem occured but got cured by using eye drops. Today the itchiness has started again. What could be the reason and what is the solution?

Her symptoms are suggestive of allergy
Try
.a avoid rubbing eyes
B. Cold compresses
C. Use mild antiallergic eyedrop like epinastine eyedrop twice daily along with lubricating eyedrop like lubrex frequently
D. Soft steroid like fluorometholone eyedrop can be used in severe cases
She may need medicine for long term
She may face this problem every summer
There is no permanent cure for allergy
Having said that it is provisional diagnosis

Its looks like your daughter is suffering from allergic conjunctivitis
1. Wash eyes with cold water 2 to 3 times a day
2. Use ice pack or Ice wrapped in cotton cloth put over Eyes twice a day i.ecold compression
3. Bepotastine eye drops twice a day
4. Loteprednol eye drops thrice a day for 7 days
5. Carboxymethylcellulose eye drops thrice a day regularly
