Irritated skin tag

I have a skin tag in my armpit and recently it's become quite irritated. I also have some slight swelling under my arm so i'm wondering if the skin tag is the cause of that. I'm basically just looking for a recommendation on what I should do about it.

Hello! Skin tag is an outgrowth of skin which is benign and occurs in areas such as armpits ,neck and groin. The only treatment of skin tags is ablation or excision. Ablation can be done via electrocauterization or ablative lasers. Surgical excision is done for large skin tags.
