Irregular periods
I got my last period on 10.10.19. After that no sign of period. Doc gave meprate 10 mg twice a day for 7 days and said I will get my period and on 3rd day of period I have to do some hormonal tests. And she also told me for home pregnancy test and usg for cysts. Test was negative and ultra sound was normal with left ovary bulky with dominant follicle. After taking meprate I still didnt get period its been 10 days. Now doctor has prescribed me novelon for 21 days. I saw the pack and it has so many side effects and precautions given. Is it safe for irregular period. Will it make my periods regular ? I am worried.

Yes it's safe and you need to get your periods and once it comes start Novelon from Day5 of your period.
Side effects are numerous but it doesn't mean all of us had to get all the side effects mentioned
