Irregular Periods
I get irregular periods last month i got it on 6th april till now 18th may i didnt get my periods..i consulted doctor 5days ago she prescribed me regestrone tablets for 5days i ate it but till now i didnt get my periods..1 time in a year i my period gets delayed more..usually every month it gets delayed 4 to 6 days..but this time it exteneded i wanted to know is it normal or should i take any test??

Firstly, test for a pregnancy if you haven't done yet. Such irregular periods can be because of hormonal disturbances like PCOS and thyroid disorders. Visit a gynaecologist for a thorough evaluation and treatment

If you are sexually active do a urine pregnancy test to clear doubts on pregnancy,and if not get an ultrasound done for lower abdomen,along with few blood tests like thyroid etc
