Irregular periods from 3 months
I went through scanning for abdomen, the report says,endometrial thickness measures 8 mm,subserosal fibroids 2.4x1.8 cm in fundus and anterior wall.And the impression says subserosal fundal unterine fibroids described.i have used mebrate tablets for 5 days and stop now it's 3rd day till now I get my period. Can you suggest me what is the treatment  for these fibroids.and what to do to get regular periods. And does this fibriods effect to get pregnancy.  Does these fibriods effect my parts in my body does these are serious any cancerous kind of thing.Please suggest me what to do and what not to do.

Since it is small and symptomatic fibroid you can try a course of ulipristal acetate available as 5 mg tablet once a day for 3months
Next Steps
Liver function test should be normal before starting ulipristal You may not get your periods and be able to become pregnant for 3 months but after 3 months the Fertility will return and fibroid will shrink and periods will be normal

Hi. Fibroids are benign growth in uterus which are hormone dependent . No cancer grows in them . After stopping Meprate tab you have to wait till10 to 14 days for the periods to come . Sub serosal fiboids mostly do not cause any problem.
