Irregular periods, bleeding and clotting
I'm unmarried. My periods are irregular since Feb 2021. My period lasts for 1 months with big blood clots. I visited nearby gynaecologist and also went through some tests as advised. As per my ultrasound report my uterus is marginally enlarge in size and my Endometrium is 12-13 mm thick. Dr told me that it is hormonal imbalance and it will take 7-8 months to cure. But didn't tell me the reason behind my problem. I had severe pain in my lower abdomen during my last periods even I had to got admit in hospital then I again visited my gynaecologist and he told me that it will continue till my uterus is enlarge. Kindly guide me. Is it anything serious? What is the reason behind my problem.

As you are in premenopausal group, and your endometrial thickness is greater than 12 mm, then u should get endometrial aspiration biopsy done. If you are not satisfied with the current gynaecologist, you should consult some other to get your problem solved.
