Irregular periods and to avoid pregnancy

Asked for Female, 27 Years

I get irregular periods from few years and i am recently married now. So my gynaecologist suggested me tablet femilon to take for 21 days for 3 months. So it can also help me to avoid pregnancy and also to make my periods regular. so is this tablet safe??
