Irregular heartbeat
Hello sir. My father ,previously suffering from high bp and taking metxl 50 regularly. But since 3 moths due to Normal blood pressure he is not taking medicines now.but since 3 days when we are measureing bp in digital machine irregular heartbeat symbol is showing.and bp is 155/92.please suggest any medicine for irregular heartbeat.

Hello, First thing is that you should not stop medicines on your own. Met XL 50 which he was taking will help for irregular heart beat as well. I suggest you get an ECG done and consult with the report Take care

Hi, His blood is pressure is not under control and he needs medications for controlling hypertension. Irregular heart rate maybe due to rhythm abnormalities (arrhythmias), take ecg as baseline investigation and consult with doctor.
