Iron blood panel abnormal
Hi, I just had a CBC done, and most came back normal except iron results. Both serum iron and transferrin saturation were low. Serrum ferretin was normal however, transferrin levels were at the very bottom of the normal range. Serum Iron 40.91 (Range 45.0 - 180.0 µg/dL) Serum Ferretin 244.23 (Range 23.9 - 336.2 ng/mL) TIBC 248.9 (Range 126.0 - 382.0 mcg/dL) Tranferrin 200.0 (Range 200.0 - 360.0 mg/dL) Transferrin Saturation Index 16.44 (Range 25.0 - 40%)
