Cataract surgery is a daycare procedure
Blood investigation-1.Complete hemogram,
2. If he/she/others is diabetic get FBS, PPBS
3. Serology- HIV, HBSAG, VDRL
The above are the basic investigations. Other investigations depends on the hospital or institutions
A-scan for intra ocular lens implantation (IOL). If it is dense cataract B-Scan .
