Internet addiction
A few months earlier I was analysing myself and I felt that I am addicted to the internet. Which is affecting my personal lifestyle and also relationship. I am trying to de-addict myself and I feel like I have improved a lot. I used to feel very uncomfortable without the internet and at any given time I was in front of my laptop watching YouTube or googling not so useful things, however, now I find myself without using the internet most of the days and I actually feel good. But I still feel I need to reduce even more for my own benefits. How can I achieve this? Kindly suggest Thanks in advance. Note: I am a Software Engineer.

Hello Mr Software engineer It is great to meet an individual who isn’t in denial of his excessive internet use. Internet is both good and bad. Good as it helps us out n provides information. Bad cause it’s a sea of information and entertainment and can drown us and make us waste our time. Terms like phubbing, behavioural addiction are a reality. I would encourage you to begin by monitoring your usage. There are many clever ways of doing this.
Next Steps
Further try to keep the phone and gadgets out of arms length especially at night. This substantially reduces the time on the gadgets
