Interim fever
Hi, My father (72 Years) have got left hip fracture 40 days ago & ortho advised for a surgery. As a pre surgery requirements got his 1st covid test (he was asymptomatic) but on 28th July 20 he tested positive & had to hold on his surgery, after treatment he got 100% recovered. Now, we want to get his 2nd covid test done for going forward with his hip surgery but from last 6-7 days he is having interim fever (99.8/100) no any other covid related symptoms observed.he looks pretty active though when we touch his forehead feels normal too. Please suggest medicines for his interim fever & also need kind suggestion should we get his 2nd covid test now or not / when to do it. He is taking telma40, Budamate200 transcap inhaling no diabetic no thoiroid

In covid certain people are continuing to have fever for prolonged periods...but need to be cautious about complications.. Better get tested once soon... And I guess u r having some hip traction
