Hello mam, I can understand your concern as being mother to be. First of all I want to tell you that if your blood sugar level is normal before pregnancy so the high level as of now is considered pregnency induced diabetes (gestational diabetes) you dont have to worry and over think about it, I am assuming that you have gone through the glucose tolerance test (GTT). If you don't have knowledge about it you can consult a doctor online. Insulin doesn't harm the baby
