Unnecessary exposure to Ionisation radiations such X rays which are Emitted from equipments such as CT scanner are harmful.If your job warrents you to do so I suggeste You to discuss it with your management/employer .There are protective equipments available such as lead jackets you can use them if you must be there in the ct room when scan is ongoing .However **It is strongly recommended that# Pregnant# females should avoid being near CT scan or any other ionising radiation emitting device**
