Injection swelling
Hello doc I was admitted for 2 days due to covid in hospital and  got 2 blood thinig injection in stomach on 12th may. One injection is swelled, became some hard, red color and some pain. Its almost 25 days passed but still having swelling and pain. Plz suggest.

Hii u need general surgeon to treat ur condition.. Consult nearby doctor or consult me on practo for start of medication and need of drainage of pus according to need

This is due to most probably the insulin which in given subcutaneously in abdomen. This is the thrombophlebitis after that injection . This can be avoided by local thrombotic ointment feel free to consult with detail history

It is due to depot accumulation of injection at it site causing thrombus, it will go slowly.
Next Steps
some thrombus dissolving medications can be used locally at the site.

do not touch it frequently. keep area clean to avoid infections.

It appears that the area has developed infection. You will require a course of antibiotic and probably drainage of the area.
