Inhalers and Aspiration Pneumonia
Hello, I believe my grandfather who is 81 inhaled a crumb when I gave him his inhaler. I had some granola crumb/nuts in my hand. It had been 4 days now. Is this dangerous? He does not want to go to the doctor.

Hi Usually these foreign bodies will cause pneumonitis. If he is having fever or cough consult a pulmonogist immediately. Other wise observe him for a week to assess any complaints.
