My friends had sexual intercourse a month ago. now they are worried because she is pregnant. they want to go for abortion. is it is illegal? What permissions are required? What process you suggest medication abortion or surgical abortion?

If she is major that is older than 18 years she can opt for abortion . First of all confirm if she isn't pregnant. If yes visit a government approved abortion clinic

Hi....., Medical termination of pregnancy is legal upto the 20th week of pregnancy or the following indications. The Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act was passed in 1971.
According to the Act, abortion may be permitted only in certain cases..... A pregnancy can be terminated only with the informed consent of the pregnant woman; no other person’s consent needs to be obtained...Consult Gynecologist for further advice....
