Inflamed cervix and post coital bleeding
Hi, I have recently had intercouse with my partner of 6 years and experienced extreme bleeding, the bleeding was bright red in colour and I passed a large clot. I decided to see my gp who carried out a smear like test to take swabs. The GP informed me that my cervix was inflamed she also informed me that if the results come back negative for infection they would refer me to a Gynaecologist. I contacted my doctors on Wednesday and they said they results came back negative. I am now being referred to gynaecology which has an 8 week waiting list. I am worried. I was thinking about going private as they can see me next week. Have you any ideas what could be wrong?

Hi, u definitely required gynaecologist opinion, its difficult to help u without examination but chances r probable cervical erosion or tear. U can consult me online if you have any further doubts.
