Infertility after hsg
Hello doctor. Does the side effects of hsg like inflamation of tubes, pelvis, cause any infertility issues. I have asked to go for hsg but am afraid it shouldn't increase my difficulties to conceive

Hello it willl definitely not cause any side effects related to conceiving but you may develop allergic reactions and other side effects like pain abdomen...vomiting etc....but hsg gives us more information about the patency of the female genital tract consult obg specialist for further evaluation and treatment.

Hello, these are the common side effects of Hystosalpingography - Mild pain during or after the procedure.Light bleeding for two to three days following the procedure.Feeling of light-headedness or faintness during or after the procedure.Exposure to a small amount of radiation. ...Pelvic infection.Inflammation of the endometrium or the fallopian tubes. Physical damage can occur with any any invasive procedure but with experienced specialist and with aseptic precautions side effects could be minimized.
