This problem prevails in his scalp for the past one year and he experiences pain and slight blood discharge only if touched or scratched with fingers kindly please diagnose this condition.

Hi. Greetings. this could be eczematisation of scalp folliculitis or scalp psoriasis. Will need a more detailed history and examination. Use an antifungal shampoo and betadine shampoo alternatingly. It's better you visit a dermatologist near you for a confirmed diagnosis. You may also require a course of oral antibiotics. Hope this helps. Warm regards - Dr Govind S Mittal
