Infection of umbilical stump
Hi! my daughter is 5 months old. My concern is that her navel hasn't dried up yet. there is watery oozing (not like pus) from her navel. I have ready consulted three docs. Everytime after the medication the oozing stoped for few days and it looks like it is healing but again the mild oozing is back. It is really disturbing. Her culture report says 'No growth'. Please tell me what might be the reason for this and advise a good pediatrician around South Delhi. Thank you

There can be many reasons including umbilical granuloma, persistent urecus, umbilical sinus etc,
Reason can be confirmed only after examination and investigations if required.
