Infected piercing?

Asked for Female, 24 Years

I just recently got my ear pierced about a week and a half ago. The cartilage part the piercing is called an industrial. On Monday it started to get really swollen and painful and since then it’s been having puss come out every time I soak it and clean it. Yesterday it hurt pretty bad but today it’s backed off a bit but is still swollen and has some puss. I’m just curious if there’s anything else I can do to help it.

You seem to have got infection of the ear piercing site which may be triggered by allergy towards ear stud. You need to remove the ear stud and start applying antibiotic ointment to the ear piercing site. Once infection subside try changing over to different ear stud
