Index finger cut by glass
My mom left hand index finger cut by glass today accidentally. It was a medium size cut but there was some bleeding. I applied soframycin and a pad in the affected area two times and bleeding has stopped now. Is there anything she needs to do for this problem?

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  If its is just a small cut, then i do not think anything more needs to be done. Just keep applying soframycin for 3 days. It will gradually heal on its own. She can take a tab. Zerodol-sp twice a day after food for 3 days. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.

Hello....... You should have posted photo of it.. See if it's not deep cut and bleeding is stopped wound heals on its own.. If it's deep cut suturing may be required.. Repost the query with photo for better understanding... Just apply any home medicine, use antiseptic ointment...
