Increased SGPT indicative of?
Dear Doctor, My father's recent blood test reports indicated SGOT value of 29 U/L, SGPT value of 66 U/L, WBC count of 12700 per uL, and Platelets count of 457 thou/uL. All other values are normal in the report of CBC, thyroid, KFT, LFT, DDIMER, PT/INR, Hba1c. What could this be indicative of, is this SGPT value too high to be considered something dangerous with liver going on or some minor infection in liver?

SGOT or SGPT are elevated when liver cells are broken down by pathological factors like alcohol or non alcoholic fatty liver or even infections. Increase in sgot or sgpt directly correlate with number of liver cells broken down. To your father, damage doesn't appear to be great. But small damage over years together can damage liver significantly.
Next Steps
do detail blood evaluation for elevation of sgpt and ultrasound whole abdomen
