Increased excretion of Lactation
Infant has been diagnosed with increased excretion of lactation during baby screening at birth. During 3 months old, I went to ICH Chennai for further diagnosis but due to language problem couldn't find any solution. Now baby is 9 months old, from last 2 months baby is not developing weight, not even 100grams. Kindly advise if the development of baby is linked with the mentioned problem. Advise which department of medicine has to be consulted for such problem. Also advise which test to do to check this particular urine lactate. Thanks

I think what you are trying to mention is "increased excretion of lactates" There is a possibility of "Inborn error of metabolism". Delay in growth and development may be linked to it. Meet a pediatric neurologist.
