Increased corneal steeping
Doctor, i have done a pentacam test on 7 september, 2021. Reports are attachted. Report says that I have an increased corneal steeping in right eye (47.4 D). My corneal thickness is 556 Micron in this eye. Left eye is normal in range (both keratometry and corneal thickness). So: 1) why my cornea is steeper than normal? 2)Do i have Keratoconus? 3)What should I do to be confirm that if I have Kc or not? Please answer this questions, Doctor.

How much is your refractive error? Your cornea looks normal as of now. No signs of keratoconus. Avoid rubbing eyes if you do so and repeat the scanning 6 monthly or based on your ophthalmologist advice.

Hi, To answer your questions: 1)  some people have steep, some normal where as others have flat cornea.  There is no reasoning for it.  It's god given.  2) looking at these reports,  no. 3) please meet with your local ophthalmologist with these reports, your dr will do a complete eye examination and let you know if u have kc or not.
