Increased 17-hydroxyprogesteron levels
My daughter is 9 days old. We have done new born screening test on 2nd day. This test shows elevated levels of 17-OPH - 66.2 ng/ml (expected: <30 ng/ml). Please tell me how severe is this.

The test needs to be confirmed with a repeat blood sampling. If still the levels are high then you need to consult a pediatric endocrinologist.
