Increase in wbc count
I did complete blood count test in july. It showed wbc count to be 6000 (normal range 4000-10000). Recently i got a job and i had to do medical test in a different hospital yesterday. Now wbc count is 9110. In between july and september i took s0me medicines due to spondylitis along with 1 pain killer and antacids. Can medicine cause wbc count increase?

Hi, Don't worry. Your WBC count is within normal range. These could be due to normal physiological variations. In case if you have got fever or any source of infection is present then we need to investigate it further.
