Sagging breasts, also known as ptosis come in a few grades depending on the shift of the nipple position in relation to the infra mammary crease( inferior breast marking in surgery). Major weight loss is one cause, due to loose skin and laxity of breat tissue ligaments. The condition is treated by a technique known as nipple areola mastopexy (lift). Please visit your local plastic surgery hospital unit to discuss the options for treatment. Less severe forms of ptosis respond very well to this nipple lift, where exact mm measurements are taken and corrected.
