Increase bilirubin
Dear sir/maidam My 16 year old son is suffering from jaundice for the last 6 months, He got allopathic treatment for 4 months but his jaundice is not well. his bilirubin label always has between Total bilirubin - 2.4 to 4.89. direct bilirubin  - 1.5 to 2.64 Indirect bilirubin - 0.89 to 2.25 sgpt    -24.1 to 34.2 sgot -27.4, alkaline phosphatase- 94, total protein- 6.91, albumin- 3.83, globulin -3.9, a/g ratio- 1.24, Australia antigen hbsag. -negative. so please suggest me that where he should get treatment

Liver enzymes are normal. Only bilirubin is raised. We need to find the cause of raised BILIRUBIN. What is the imaging of liver says: ULTRASOUND, ct mri etc. THEre are some rare cause where such findings can be present. But the diagnosis will decide everything.
