In doubt of Thyroid
Hi, I am a 29 yr old female, who earlier had Hypo Thyroid earlier and use to have thyroxine tab 12 mg everyday. But since an year now there has been no symptoms. But now from past 6-7 days I can feel the same symptoms back sch as, weight gain, hair fall, cold sensitivity etc. I believe this can be thyroid but I wanted to consult if I need to start my medicine again?

Get a TSH and free T4 and TPO antibody. Though it will probably be positive. If you have any old results it will be good to see the trend. 12.5 is low for most females. You’ll probably need to increase the dose as per your weight
