Breastfeed gives immunity to the baby. Formula feed lacks various factors which are needed for proper growth & development of the child. Yet, its better than all other feeds except breastfeed. So, if baby is accepting formula feed, its still good. Try for breast feed each time baby demands feed before giving formula milk. consult obstetrician for any specific medicines for increasing lactation.
