Iliac fracture hip pointe. Own himself?

8 days before my brother fall down n his xray report say that fracture of left iliac crest extending to iliac spine.our orthopaedic doctor give painkillers n vit like cal medicine n said that for completely bed rest for 2 month at least n not possible to do plaster on hip portions he is actually manbhudhi child so problem is that is starting not too much pain bt now pain is too much when little bit movement is done actually he is not able to properly thats why problem is much more so my question is that 1 how much time is to be taken to made his hip iliac bone fixed?? 2 for few days problems is to be more bc of fixings bone itself??? 3 is in after 2 month he ll be ok walk on own himself??
