Effectiveness of medications is largely dependent on a number of factors- 1- dose & choice of medication 2- how regularly it’s taken 3. Smoking and drinking alcohol or use if other illicit substances 4. Triggers in personal life Potential solutions: 1. Consider the above 2. See your doctor 3. Deep TMS 4. CBT

Medications takes time to show it's action,if response is not seen in three to six months despite adherence then switching to next line would be best thing to do. Concurrent CBT sessions with clinical psychologist would be helpful

Medication strategies for ocd can vary and requires augmentations with various antidepressants which is very safe and also try combination of psychotherapy with medication for better results

Hi, there are many options. Your psychiatrist can assess you and see : A) if another medication can be added to your current treatment to augment response, B) or if there is need to completely switch you from current medications to another class of medications ( thankfully, we have many options available) C) Psychotherapeutic interventions can also improve symptoms D) certain brain stimulation techniques like rTMS E) If none of these steps works, your doctor might want to review your diagnosis and see if you have another co-morbid psychiatric symptoms or are using any substance that can modify the course of your treatment.

Hello The medication take time..to show response..if one drug you are not responding you will go augmentation n adequate dose of drug..it takes time..like it should go off in 3-6 months..it not like that
