Ideal time for prolactin test
I had my last menstrual period on August 21st, and I haven't had a period since. I underwent a hormonal test on October 5th, which revealed elevated prolactin levels( higher ) . My doctor recommended retesting between days 2 to 5 of my menstrual cycle. I'm wondering if there's a possibility that my prolactin levels could return to normal during my next menstrual cycle? Additionally, could you please clarify the ideal timing for prolactin level testing?

Depends upon what is your current level of prolactin.
Ideal timing of testing is 2/3 day of menses .
