Ichthyosis vulgaris and sudden freckles
My daughter age 22 years is diagnosed with IV few days back. Earlier she was on homeopathy for severely dry and scaly skin with uneven skin tone. She has this problem since the age of 14 years otherwise she was normal.
Recently she has started getting sudden freckles of light brown color on all over body exposed or unexposed.
No family history. father skin little dry in winters.
no medical history . Absolutely normal child.

Ichthyosis vulgaris has to be kept under control as the skin is deficient in certain proteins which makes it dry and cracked. She might have developed a flare which we call erythroderma. Avoid soap. Please send photos for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
