Ichthyosis vulgaris present with increased dryness... most commonly in the forearm and shin areas... because the skin does not form normally.. it is a genetic problem... but it is limited to the skin and nothing to worry... but need to continue regular use of moisturisers all year round... especially in winters when it tends to get worse... there are moisturisers specially for this.. but without confirmation of diagnosis cannot recommend it to you.. if you wish you can send photos online through private consult . hope this is helpful .
