IBS or IBD
Biopsy report: 1)Focally ulcerated rectal mucosal bits identified with mild neutrophillic on moderate scattered lymphoplasmacytic inflammation,focal lymphoid aggregates in laminate propria. 2)Features are of active on chronic nonspecific proctitis. Current Medication: Mesacol,pentasa 1g suppositories, drotavrine, sompraz d, Actapro. Current symptoms: blood, mucos and pus in stool, diarrhoea, severe abdomen pain. Can you help me with following questions: 1)is this IBS or IBD?if IBD, what kind? 2) Are these Medication correct because my symptoms are not going? 3) Is there any other test to rule out IBD? Kindly help as condition is getting worse day by day. I have attachéd my colonoscopy report as well.
