I have done a tb TEST. First of all I have chalked mauntous test and it comes positive .then I checked tb Freon TEST and result has come. Now I want to know about my result.

Hello there! I need to know a few things as to what symptoms do u have at present? Are you suffering from some ailments? Who asked you to get these tests done? You need to know a few things before you diagnose anything and jump to conclusions. Mantouxs test is not a very specific test ie it may show a false positive result in a country like India where majority have a latent tuberculosis. Quantiferon tb gold if comes positive can mean nothing if you have no symptoms as it cannot distinguish between a latent TB and active infection. Please consult a TB specialist if you are having some symptoms.
