I sliced the tip of my thumb at work.
Today at work I sliced the tip of my thumb. I got the bleeding to stop and it’s been thoroughly cleaned. There is a flap of immovable skin and I was wondering if I can get it to grow back on. If I use my works insurance they will let me go but my dad won’t use his please help.

Hello well it would have been better if you could share some pictures of it so that I could asseSS how deep is the wound you are talking about.. if it is not deep enough as you don't seem to tell me about any suturing done so I think it doesn't require any reconstruction or something and it will regrow on its own.. please meet a General Surgeon and then go ahead with your decision
